These track rod end dust boots should be suitable for almost every car, from the 1950s to the present day. I have feedback from customers who have fitted them on hundreds of different ones and they have always been a great fit. The only ones that they won’t replace, are vehicles that use pinch bolts instead of nuts, as the shank is usually about 16 mm [boot 4 should fit those]; and track rod ends where the boot has been crimped on with a wide metal collar.

Unfortunately there are no official application lists available for any boots and no guarantee they will fit any specific models. But using our knowledge and feedback by kind customers, we have attempted to list some fitments below. Fitment List ©2009.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you supply clips to retain the boots?

From experience the boots usually hold nicely onto the joints without metal clips and often retain better without them. Unless the replacement boot is exactly the same size as the original, fitting or refitting a metal clip can pinch the boot and leave a gap for grease to escape and water to ingress. Plus some metal double row metal clips are very difficult to fit.

The UK MOT obviously has rigid guidelines, although a failure or pass is often down to the individual examiner’s interpretation. Examiners have been known to have said only damage matters and if the compression holds the boot in place, it isn’t essential to have clips. If you are in doubt, please speak to your MOT testing station first.
